About Me
Pain, anger, sadness, fear, hopelessness, stress, worry. These are only some of the emotions that we as humans find ourselves dealing with on a daily basis. You might find that you are experiencing a life changing situation that is evoking some of these undesirable feelings, or have been sitting with some of them for a long time with no explanation at all. Daily living can be a challenge as we navigate and try to understand our place in the world.
Every now and then, ensuring that we achieve a form of happiness and peace on our journeys can be a little bit more difficult than expected. It is true that sometimes incidents happen and may get in the way of how we progress which ends up resulting in struggles with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and so forth. These types of challenges that arise to the surface can leave us feeling stuck and prevent us from fully thriving in our environment.
Due to this we may develop one of the many frames of mind that may hinder our progress towards achieving a balanced mental state.
I am here to tell you that I understand and know how strenuous some of the events reality may bring. As a newly trained Psychotherapist (Qualifying) I have worked in the mental health field for three years and have an extensive amount of knowledge when it comes to working with individuals who are experiencing troubles with mood disorders, coping skills, anxiety, anger management, grief, addiction and stress related issues.
I take on an integrative approach to ensure that treatment is specialized to suit your every need. I am here to guide and support you on your path, while providing a warm and safe non-judgmental space. I promise to always provide an empathetic and compassionate approach when working with you, and hope that we can create a strong therapeutic relationship, because that is when true change and “magic” occurs. In collaboration we will work at your desired pace when exploring personal struggles- as you are the writer of your life and I am simply the thought map helping guide you to make sense of it all.
Too often we can feel as if we are walking alone, but I am here as a reminder to let you know that is not the case.
Together we can help you create positive changes and learn how to properly steer through some of the troubles you may be facing. I know it may be overwhelming to take the first step when It comes to seeking help and because of this I want to say congratulations on the first big step towards healing your inner self.
Side by side if you allow me, we can ease you into this process so you feel comfortable during this transitional phase at this point in time and slowly but surely you will be able to breathe again, because you are not on your own.
I look forward to hearing from you.
